This kitchen/bath renovation is a splash of midcentury modern and a splash of tiki culture. The clients wanted simple and direct materials, birch ply, concrete, rosewood pulls, with a bright color accent wall of green cement tiles. Reclaimed pieces of Dalle de Verre glass make an underlit focal point in the concrete island.
